Al-Wasiyyah

Al-Wasiyyah as-Sughrā by Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah is an advice that was written in response to a request by Abul-Qāsim al-Sabtī (a scholar and world explorer) for advice concerning four matters:
– Advice that would benefit him in his religion and his worldly life
– The best voluntary acts of worship
– Seeking provision and the most profitable earnings
– Reliable books of knowledge

Kashf ash-Shubuhāt by Imām Muhammad Ibn ‘Abdil-Wahhāb. Studying this will allow the student to:
– Know the importance of Tawhīd and staying away from Shirk
– Understand the harms of exaggerating the status of the righteous people
– Understand the permissible and impermissible forms of intercession
– Equip the student with textual evidences and sound deduction to respond to the doubts of the people of shirk

Kashf
Laamiyyah

Lāmiyatu al-Af’āl by Imām Ibn Mālik. This poem is written by Imām Ibn Mālik – the famous author of the Alfiyyah in Grammar. It is a poem in the science of as-Sarf [morphology] and predominately focuses on verbs. It is the study of how Arabic words can change from their root to many other forms and provide new meanings. Learning this will allow the student to better understand and appreciate the speech of Allāh.

Manzūmah al-Zamzamī is a poem written in the science of al-Tafsīr. Studying this will allow the student to:
– Learn the definition of the science of al-Tafsīr
– Know which surahs were revealed in Makkah and Madīnah
– Understand the reasons behind revelation
– Know the views regarding the first and last verses to be revealed
– Learn about those who are well-known for their memorisation and recitation of the Qur’ān
